Nearly from its beginning more than half a century ago, the annual 4th of July fireworks display along the Navesink River has been a must see event, attracting larger and larger crowds to Red Bank, New Jersey, its historic home town. In 2006, organizers looked to BRND for help reenergizing and updating their brand to better represent the contemporary organization’s character, scope and objectives.
Once underway, the make-over involved virtually every type of communications materials and media, from signage to advertising to mobile graphics to fund raising mailers. The effects were quickly evident and continued to steamroll over a period of six years. At the end of that time the once simple fireworks display had morphed and grown into a 4-day celebration of the arts, music, food, fun and family entertainment, all anchored by one of the most spectacular fireworks extravaganzas in the tri-state area. Annual attendance boomed to over 200,000, local shops and restaurants enjoyed a steady stream of new customers, and the positive economic effects could be felt all along the Jersey Shore.
